Haiku Season Package $125
Haiku is a traditional form of Japanese verse, and typically invokes an aspect of the seasons or nature. Blue Tree Gallery’s Haiku Season Package draws from the works of Basho, the famous 17th century Japanese poet. Product Descripton: We use a smaller brush, called a kofude, for our haiku calligraphy series. The verses are written on delicate rice paper with gold flecks. Also, each design contains the kanji character for the season represented in the haiku. For example, in the Spring/Cherry Blossom haiku directly below, you will see the character for "spring" artistically placed in the upper left-hand corner. The substantial 12-inch by 16-inch black wood frame enhances the delicate calligraphy. These handsome pieces are framed using high-quality acid free matting and are ready-to-hang.
