Authentic sea glass (sometimes called "mermaids tears"), is found only along shores harboring just the right conditions for the ocean's natural tumbling process to do its work. It takes years for the sea to wear down and smooth out the edges of these beautiful, translucent pieces of glass.
This process is often replicated with a machine tumbler, but we feel the unique shape and natural beauty of pieces found along beaches is more special. We use our treasures to create petite sun catchers that you can wear. Each pendant hangs on brown waxed linen cord that enhances the simple, natural look of each piece of glass.
