Blue Tree House, home base of Blue Tree Gallery, stands deep in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest Coastal Range. It represents our efforts to achieve an ecosensitive lifestyle that combines traditions and practices from Eastern and Western cultures. This is an ongoing endeavor that we seek through our actions (such as how we cook) and our environment (such as the art we create and collect). The more we learn, the more meaningful and fulfilling our lives become.

This Blue Tree House web page is our effort to share some of our experiences and practices with you. Follow the links below to learn how to brew traditional green tea and write your own haiku. We have lots in store at Blue Tree House and hope that you'll check back with us from time to time. If you'd like to share your thoughts--or if there's something you'd like to see on this page, let us hear from you! info Welcome to Blue Tree House.

Recipe #1
How To Brew Perfect Green Tea!
Forget about the Lipton Green Tea bag. If you don't think you like green tea and your experience is limited to the Lipton variation, we recommend you give it a try the traditional way. Green tea can be refreshing, slightly sweet (without sugar) and very satisfying, not to mention the various health benefits. Once you're hooked, a meal will not be complete without drinking a cup of green tea.
